Under Floor Heating at Hicraft Wooden Flooring

Energy saving heating

Floor heating produces the optimum heat distribution in the room. This means the temperature can be lowered by 2 – 3 degrees whilst still maintaining a comfortable room climate.

Healthy heating

Electric under floor heating works at a low temperature to give a comfortable climate without hot, stale air. It produces less air movement which means fewer dust particles and a healthier environment; this is especially welcome for people with allergies.

Practical heating

Floors in entrances and hallways are prone to dampness, especially by wet shoes, umbrellas etc. With a heated floor this will be rapidly dried up with under floor heating.

Ideal heating

It is common but far from ideal to install heating on walls. With a traditional radiator system most of the heat is dissipated by convection, resulting in higher temperatures at head height and above – where it is least effective. Also a significant amount of heat is dissipated through the wall. With under floor heating the ideal heat dispersion is created – warmer at floor level and cooler at head height together with a vastly improved heating efficiency.

Beautiful heating

Radiators often do not contribute to the aesthetics of a room and always influence the room layout. If furniture is placed in front of a radiator to hide it, this reduces it’s heating effectiveness. With under floor heating the heat source is not seen and room layout is not compromised
